Delft blue in silver

The story of this unique silver piece of jewelry started in Gorinchem, where I found a fragment of an old Delft blue tile along the river Boven Merwede. After some research, it appears that this piece of tile was in production around 1740. A perfect piece of history to set in silver, immortalize and wear! The pendant is 3.7 cm wide and 2.3 cm high and is included in a large silver link chain and finished with a handmade toggle clasp. The length between the toggle clasp and the pendant is 30 cm, the total length of the chain is 60 cm.
